Site Plot
Several decades ago, humanity noticed a rise in people that were truly special. They were faster, smarter, stronger and overall better than normal humans. These quirks began showing up in children as young as four years old and quickly caused trouble for the world.
Many of the individuals with those special quirks began to abuse them. They committed crimes. harmed others. They became the villains that only existed in comic books years ago. But rising up to stop those villains were an array of super heroes.
In order to cultivate youth into splendid heroes that would help the world, it was decided that a school would be made. Yuuei Academy is that school. It is a place where those with special quirks can become heroes.
But that is not all there is there. Hero studies is just one of many subjects taught at Yuuei, though it is what it is most known for. Not everyone has quirks and only so many that do have useful quirks. It is only those individuals that make it into the Hero department at Yuuei. These are proud and special individuals.
Not long after Yuuei was created though, villains felt it was necessary to mimic the idea. They created a school called Akuyaku that would rival Yuuei. It is there that they train youths in performing evil deeds.
Each of these schools is a different side of the same coin. They function very similarly. Students enter the school during the junior highschool years and graduate as an adult. Heroes will train to be heroes, and try to gain sponsors from well-known hero groups. At the same time the villains will learn to be villains and hope to one day join or even become the world's greatest villain. At the same time they are taking classes, making friends and doing their own things.
From here on the overall plot of My Hero Academy is member driven. This means what happens is decided by each member. Will a villain try to create a weapon to blow up the world? Will a hero stop them? Will there be new hero or villain groups? While the staff here will create events occasionally, for the most part these questions will be answered by you the member.
